Necessary Inconvenience

I won’t lie…

Great lab results get me excited!

Vital signs to match?… I’m pumped

But more importantly it’s how good my patients feel..

Like when Mr “I-don’t-like-to-see-doctors” came back in …

Refused blood pressure medication visits #1 and #2..

But on visit 3 His BP was better

And I asked …

Bet (yes bet) how do you feel?

“I feel better”

“I have more energy”

“I sleep better”

“And I seem more focused “
.
.
.
.

Seem?

Discussion for another day

Oh really …

So you agree that the lifestyle changes work?

“Yeah doc” (his expression not mine)

… and they help you feel better

“Yup”

Do you agree it’s worth it for you?

“How do you mean?”

The inconvenience… compared to how you feel now..

Is it worth for you?

“Oh most definitely “

Much more than your lab results

Much more than your vitals signs

It’s how your quality of life improves

So here’s to you..

Doing the do … eating the eats to get you feeling as good as ya look!

If you or any one you know is looking for a Family Physician that nudges you to make lifestyle changes and helps improve your quality of life…

…with and without medications
