New Things

I drank coffee

Black

A whole cup

For the first time in 15 years… maybe more..No exaggeration

I had a cough

It has lingered for weeks and I was tired of coughing

It was most likely viral…

Yes I had some tests done ..

I was headed to a conference and so I took some liquid cough medication…

Didn’t want to be the one in the Audience coughing during each “Aha” moment dropped by the speaker

I didn’t read the type… I was in a rush
It had Benadryl…And I was sleepy
Like standing sleepy … I could fall asleep standing

Hubby looked at me

“You alright?”

Me … uh uh
Then I confessed

He: here…
Me : nope
He: try it
Me: *counting my options*
Okay

“Gulp”

Tasted like extra burnt cocoa just like I remember and smells like it too

I drank it..

Drank a little more..

Hmm I guess I could get used to it

If I needed to..

Guess what

That squishy fruit is not as bad as drinking coffee… IMO

Yup, you didn’t expect this conclusion did you?

So here’s to you

We…

Us…

Trying new things

Why?

So you can stay awake perhaps

Or so you can extend the quality and quantity at a time one healthy food at a time!

I come in peace,
