I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this practice. From my very first appointment, I have experienced scheduling issues and poor communication.
At my initial appointment, I arrived on time expecting to see the physician I specifically requested based on recommendations from family members. After arriving, I was informed that due to scheduling and booking errors on the office’s end, I would not be able to see her and was instead scheduled with a nurse practitioner.
Since then, I have continued to experience confusion regarding appointments, including virtual visits and rescheduled appointments. Most recently, I had my annual women’s health appointment scheduled. Due to multiple accidents causing traffic delays, I called ahead to notify the office that I would be approximately 15 minutes late. At no point during that call was I informed that I would not be seen.
I then drove over an hour to the office, only to be told upon arrival that the physician had a meeting and was unable to see me. As someone with a disability, making long drives and coordinating medical appointments requires significant effort and planning. Had I been informed beforehand, I could have avoided an unnecessary trip and physical strain.
I chose this practice because of the positive experiences shared by my family members, but unfortunately my experience has been the complete opposite. Patients deserve clear communication, respect for their time, and consideration when scheduling issues arise. After multiple instances of miscommunication and inconvenience, I have decided to seek care elsewhere.
I hope this feedback encourages improvements in scheduling practices and patient communication so that others do not experience the same frustration.
