She is a Registered Dietitian (RD), Certified Specialist in Gerontological Nutrition with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and Certified Nutrition Support Clinician with the National Board for Nutrition Support Certification (NBNSC). She is also board certified in Nutrition and Wound Care (NWCC).

She now runs her own private practice out of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where she works alongside two other highly skilled Registered Dietitians.
