Shakeilla Smithbey,

Dr. Shakeilla Smithbey is an integrative & family medicine board certified physician. She completed medical school at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C., and completed her family and social medicine residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. She then went on to complete a two year fellowship in Integrative Medicine at Stamford Hospital, in Stamford, Connecticut and the University of Arizona. She has worked in a variety of communities from high income to underserved engaging families with respect and care. She has also served as a Clinical Instructor at both Columbia University & Weill Cornell Medical College mentoring other physicians, medical students and volunteers from around the world. Her philosophy uses a comprehensive and customized plan with both natural and conventional medical interventions to promote wellness and healing. She emphasizes principles that are evidence-based, safe and effective.
