Meet La'Sheah

La’Sheah M. Stewart is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with over nineteen years of service. She is now eagerly servicing the DFW area at Livingspring Family Medical center. Her purpose of caring for others, led by a calling that God has placed upon her life, has allowed her to excel professionally. La’Sheah received her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Olivet Nazarene University, Bourbonnais, Illinois.

La’Sheah is passionate about helping others live healthy lives. Throughout her career, La’Sheah has enjoyed connecting with patients and developing individualized health care plans, including disease focused, obesity management and preventative care measures in a holistic manner. An important piece of treating her patients is to educate them to be advocates for themselves. She believes patients that are knowledgeable about their treatment plans and outcomes will increase compliance and communication. She aims to care for each person from the perspective of Hamric and Spross: “Courage, authentic presence, advocacy, knowledge, commitment and patience helps patients to achieve their personal goals, obtain necessary outcomes while decreasing mortality, morbidity and rehospitalization.”

With the understanding that patients have several options, as a provider, La’Sheah feels privileged and honored to serve patients at Livingspring family medical center along their healthcare journey. Each patient is special to her and she takes pride in helping them to establish health care treatment plans that allow them to live better physically, psychologically, emotionally, and spiritually.

She is married to her best friend/husband, Adrian. Married for seventeen years, the two enjoy their special date nights and raising their three beautiful daughters and two handsome sons. She takes pride in all aspects of her life, approaching every moment with meaningful intention. La’Sheah is looking forward to serving you and your family as she holds on to what drove her to this profession, a calling to help others live healthier lives.
