Dr Uchenna Aduba is a board-certified internal medicine physician born in the Country of Nigeria but has been living in the USA for over 25 years. Dr Aduba attended high school in Mississippi, where he was voted student council president prior to attending college in Texas. Dr Aduba attended the University of Texas at Austin and is still a passionate Longhorn to this day. He did his training at Texas A & M College of Medicine on an academic merit scholarship for all 4 years. He then did his internship and residency training at the University of Texas at Houston Health Science Center for 3 years. During his time at Houston, Dr. Aduba trained at the world-renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center, Memorial Hermann, and the county hospital Lyndon B Johnson. During his training at the county hospital, Dr. Aduba became well-versed in serving the underprivileged and low income patient while providing outstanding care. After graduating from Dr Aduba did nephrology training at Stanford University. While at Stanford, Dr Aduba did preliminary research work on maintaining patency and access of AV fistula and AV graft. Dr Aduba then relocated back to Texas to serve as a primary care physician.
In his free time, Dr. Aduba enjoys running. He has run in 5-6 half marathons and several 10ks. He has even placed first overall for his age group in a 10k race. Additionally, he has lived in the Ivory Coast, Tunisia bring an empathetic approach and care to all of his patient regardless of their background, customs, or heritage. Dr Aduba is always considerate of the patient’s perspective and always practices evidence-based medicine. Dr Aduba is pleased and grateful to join the outstanding team and network of the LivingSpring Family Medical Center. Dr Aduba is an avid Christian and attends church regularly on Sundays. Dr Aduba has received several Catholic sacraments and enjoys singing hymns in church.
