Better With Every Visit

It was a follow up

She looked rested

“I don’t know what you said to him but thank you”

I had seen her husband … apparently …and he had made some major changes…

MAJOR she said

I couldn’t confirm nor deny her “allegations” … but I nodded

My heart sang

Well not out loud

“He started walking 5 miles a day Doc”

“Has started eating fresh fruits and veggies… things I’d been begging him to eat”

Her nagging hadn’t worked

But he had seen me and made a change

This made my day

I hugged her

And confessed

Sometimes I feel like a nag”

“ I seem to be saying it -in different remixes- over and over again”

“We’ll keep nagging doc, it’s working”

I feel better with the meds and changes I’ve made- she continued!

“He feels better”

“Our marriage is better even in the “upper room”

If I could do a cartwheel I’d have done it

My cause: With each visit championing the cause to help my patients live long and well

Notwithstanding the diagnosis

There’s always a way to live better spirit soul and body!!

Her response:

“Well whatever you did It has helped me and my family.

So…Thank you! “

Need someone to nag … I mean nudge you or someone you love to make changes that make for feeling better …living long and well?

Well, please tell them!

I am still SHE!
